Right now I'm working on my doctorate, researching the effects of dams on paddlefish in the Alabama river. When I'm not tracking paddlefish or analyzing data, I'm drawing, tying flies, or playing music. My research and illustrations have been published in peer reviewed journals, and I've contributed art to lots of different conservation-minded causes.
